Our Policy

Aim

Our aim is to provide for all our pupils the sort of caring, stimulating, and happy environment which will enable them to grow into self-confident, active and highly successful young citizens of the future. The ethos and culture of the whole campus as it grows and matures is based on the positive and caring attitude and engaged by the boys and girls who live, learn and play on the boarding premises campus.

What is a boarding house?

It is for International students in a residence that is ten minutes away from the main city. Our Boarding facility is in a green area close to many amenities.

The House Master/s are on duty 24 hours a day. They are vigilant and supportive of all our boarding students. Students welfare and practical needs are met with the assistance of the medical staff.

We reflect a safe, secure and happy environment: our policies equally represent the:

  • Healthy, safety and welfare.
  • Child Protection and safeguarding.
  • School trips, safety, internet safety.

The premises have inspection and is certified by the Health Ministry

Considerations and priorities are given to:

  • Lighting
  • Acoustic
  • Water supplier
  • Outdoor space

The boarding premises is in line with the school premises regulations which relate to the quality of boarding facilities provided and are also part of the regulatory framework for boarding schools.

There are advantages to boarding facilities in terms of the environment and opportunities they are offered to pupils. The design and new boarding accommodation, its location and practicality of operations are key factors in the success of a boarding provision.

ISN boarding facilitates the varied needs of families. Parents know that the facilities provide adequate privacy and all sufficient washing and toilet facilities. The need to provide medical care to boarders and the safety and security of the site.

There are ample opportunities for evening study which is supported by staff. Sporting and cultural activities are part of the boarders’ experience. Trained counselors are also another support for students.

Weekends

If boarders remain at premises at weekends, a carefully planned programmed of activities will be provided.

Staff

The wellbeing of the boarding students is always considered in all aspects. The relationship between boarders and members of staff and other students are carefully considered with the intention of meeting their personal needs.
